CLINTON TWP. A person died after being thrown from a van in a crash Wednesday on Interstate 78 west.
The crash occurred at mile marker 21.4 in Clinton Township, just east of the Cokesbury Road exit.
"There is one confirmed fatality in the accident," New Jersey State Police Sgt. Gregory Williams said early Wednesday afternoon. "Investigators are still out there."

The suspect driver was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland for treatment. Information on others involved in the incident was not immediately available.
